Chief Financial Officer

APPLY FOR POSITION

Wultra is evolving from a Czech technology company into an international group. With a holding entity being established in the Netherlands, a newly launched commercial branch in Singapore, and further expansion ahead, we are building a financial structure designed to support sustainable global growth.

We specialize in digital identity and post-quantum authentication solutions for banks and fintech companies. With strong partners, international clients, and ambitious expansion plans, we are entering a pivotal phase of our development.

To support this transformation, we are seeking a full-time Chief Financial Officer to join our Executive team and take full ownership of financial leadership across the group.

The Role

As CFO, you will build and lead a robust internal finance function while ensuring structured, transparent, and scalable financial management across all group entities.

This is a strategic Executive role with hands-on responsibility. You will work closely with the CEO, Executive team, and investors to help shape the company’s long-term direction.

Key Responsibilities

Financial Planning & Analysis

  • Lead financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and long-term scenario modelling.
  • Ensure effective cash flow management and capital allocation.
  • Maintain clear visibility into financial performance across products, customers, and entities.

Financial Management & Controlling

  • Oversee accounting across the group, including consolidation of domestic and international entities (in cooperation with local accounting firms).
  • Ensure accuracy, completeness, and transparency of financial data.
  • Structure and standardize product pricing from a financial perspective.
  • Establish scalable financial processes, governance standards, and internal control frameworks.

Compliance, Audit & Risk Management

  • Ensure compliance with local and international tax and regulatory requirements.
  • Oversee mandatory reporting, audited financial statements, and annual filings.
  • Lead internal and external audits.
  • Develop and maintain a structured risk management framework.

Investor Relations & Fundraising

  • Prepare structured board materials and investor reporting.
  • Participate in due diligence processes.
  • Support upcoming fundraising rounds with financial models, data preparation, and documentation.
  • Maintain transparent, professional communication with investors and stakeholders.

Experience & Qualifications

  • Senior-level experience in financial leadership (e.g., CFO, Head of Finance, Finance Director, or equivalent), ideally within a scaling technology environment.
  • Strong background in corporate finance, including capital structure, investment decision-making, and cash flow optimization.
  • Experience managing international operations, multi-entity consolidation, or group structures.
  • Proven involvement in fundraising processes, investor communication, or board-level reporting.
  • Solid understanding of business models, financial drivers, and revenue recognition principles.
  • Advanced financial modelling and forecasting capabilities.
  • Experience with cross-border financial operations.
  • University degree in Finance, Economics, or a related field.

Technical & Language Requirements

  • Advanced Excel skills.
  • Experience with financial BI and reporting tools (e.g., Power BI).
  • Experience with ERP systems (ERP implementation experience is a plus).
  • Proficiency in Google Workspace and MS Office.
  • Experience with workflow automation or financial process optimization.
  • Fluent in Czech and English.

What We Offer

  • A key executive role during a critical international growth phase.
  • Direct influence on the financial and strategic direction of the group.
  • Close cooperation with the CEO and investors.
  • Modern offices in Prague and the flexibility to work remotely.
  • Monthly salary: CZK 150,000–200,000, depending on experience.
