We specialize in digital identity and post-quantum authentication solutions for banks and fintech companies. With strong partners, international clients, and ambitious expansion plans, we are entering a pivotal phase of our development.
To support this transformation, we are seeking a full-time Chief Financial Officer to join our Executive team and take full ownership of financial leadership across the group.
The Role
As CFO, you will build and lead a robust internal finance function while ensuring structured, transparent, and scalable financial management across all group entities.
This is a strategic Executive role with hands-on responsibility. You will work closely with the CEO, Executive team, and investors to help shape the company’s long-term direction.
Key Responsibilities
Executive Partnership
- Align financial strategy with overall business objectives.
- Act as a trusted advisor to the CEO and the Executive team.
- Support international expansion and further development of the holding structure.
- Provide proactive financial insights, risk assessments, and scenario analysis to support decision-making.
Financial Planning & Analysis
- Lead financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and long-term scenario modelling.
- Ensure effective cash flow management and capital allocation.
- Maintain clear visibility into financial performance across products, customers, and entities.
Financial Management & Controlling
- Oversee accounting across the group, including consolidation of domestic and international entities (in cooperation with local accounting firms).
- Ensure accuracy, completeness, and transparency of financial data.
- Structure and standardize product pricing from a financial perspective.
- Establish scalable financial processes, governance standards, and internal control frameworks.
Compliance, Audit & Risk Management
- Ensure compliance with local and international tax and regulatory requirements.
- Oversee mandatory reporting, audited financial statements, and annual filings.
- Lead internal and external audits.
- Develop and maintain a structured risk management framework.
Investor Relations & Fundraising
- Prepare structured board materials and investor reporting.
- Participate in due diligence processes.
- Support upcoming fundraising rounds with financial models, data preparation, and documentation.
- Maintain transparent, professional communication with investors and stakeholders.
Experience & Qualifications
- Senior-level experience in financial leadership (e.g., CFO, Head of Finance, Finance Director, or equivalent), ideally within a scaling technology environment.
- Strong background in corporate finance, including capital structure, investment decision-making, and cash flow optimization.
- Experience managing international operations, multi-entity consolidation, or group structures.
- Proven involvement in fundraising processes, investor communication, or board-level reporting.
- Solid understanding of business models, financial drivers, and revenue recognition principles.
- Advanced financial modelling and forecasting capabilities.
- Experience with cross-border financial operations.
- University degree in Finance, Economics, or a related field.
Technical & Language Requirements
- Advanced Excel skills.
- Experience with financial BI and reporting tools (e.g., Power BI).
- Experience with ERP systems (ERP implementation experience is a plus).
- Proficiency in Google Workspace and MS Office.
- Experience with workflow automation or financial process optimization.
- Fluent in Czech and English.
