Wultra builds digital identity and cybersecurity products that protect banks, fintechs, and their customers worldwide. As we grow internationally, we’re looking for a Chief People & Culture Officer to help our people, leaders, and organization grow with the business.
Reporting directly to the CEO, you’ll join Wultra’s executive leadership team and shape company strategy alongside your executive peers. You’ll own the people and organizational agenda, lead our HR team, and ensure we have the capabilities, structure, and working environment to deliver our ambitions.
This is a hands-on executive role. You’ll set direction, make decisions, and work with your team to turn them into everyday practice. We’re looking for someone who combines strong business judgment, genuine care for people, and the confidence to challenge assumptions - helping us live our values of quality, openness, simplicity, and expertise as we scale.
What you’ll own
- People and organizational strategy. Translate company ambitions into a focused people agenda, making clear choices about priorities, investment, and what to build, improve, simplify, or stop.
- Executive partnership. Contribute to company-wide strategy and decisions, bringing a clear perspective on organizational capabilities, leadership, performance, and the people implications of business choices.
- Organizational development and workforce planning. Partner with the CEO and executive team on team structures, leadership capacity, critical capabilities, and hiring priorities as Wultra expands internationally.
- Leadership and manager effectiveness. Help leaders set clear expectations, give useful feedback, develop their teams, and handle difficult conversations. Establish shared expectations for how we lead.
- Performance and career development. Build practical approaches that help people understand how they’re doing, what’s expected, and how they can grow - including paths for both specialists and managers.
- Compensation and rewards. Own our compensation and benefits framework, partnering with Finance and leadership to balance fairness, market relevance, business affordability, and recognition of contribution.
- Culture and employee experience. Turn our values into everyday leadership and working practices, strengthening trust, accountability, and collaboration across teams and locations.
- Leadership of the HR function. Lead and develop the HR team, setting clear priorities and accountability across recruitment, people operations, employee experience, and development.
- People insights. Use data, employee feedback, and business context to identify risks, guide decisions, and assess whether our people initiatives deliver meaningful results.
Your initial priorities
Together with your executive peers and the HR team, you’ll assess what already works and agree on where change will have the greatest impact. We expect the early priorities to include:
- Aligning the people agenda and workforce plan with Wultra’s business priorities and international growth.
- Establishing a consistent, useful approach to performance feedback and development.
- Giving employees and managers greater clarity on career growth and compensation principles.
- Strengthening leaders’ ability to manage teams through growth and change.
You’ll shape the approach and sequence, building on what works and keeping processes proportionate to our needs.
What you’ll bring
- Experience leading a people function or owning a broad people agenda, with accountability for priorities, delivery, and results.
- Experience supporting international teams working in technology, cybersecurity, fintech, or SaaS.
- A track record of helping a growing organization strengthen its leadership, people practices, and organizational capabilities.
- Strong business judgment: you understand business priorities, recognize trade-offs, and connect people decisions to company performance.
- The ability to contribute as an executive peer, build trust with senior leaders, and challenge decisions constructively with evidence and sound judgment.
- Experience leading and developing an HR team, with clear expectations and effective delegation.
- Demonstrated success implementing practices that employees and managers actually use - for example, in performance, career development, compensation, or manager development.
- A hands-on approach. You’re comfortable setting direction, working through details when needed, and ensuring decisions lead to action.
- The ability to bring structure to ambiguous problems, involve the right people, and move toward a clear outcome.
- Strong communication and facilitation skills, with empathy, discretion, and confidence in sensitive situations.
- Confidence using people data and digital tools, including HR systems, spreadsheets, and responsible use of AI to improve everyday work.
- Confident communication in English.
