CAREERS

Chief Product Officer

Shape the product strategy behind cybersecurity and digital identity solutions, protecting millions of banking customers worldwide.

APPLY FOR POSITION

We’re looking for an experienced product leader to own Wultra’s product strategy and portfolio as we scale internationally. You’ll lead our Product organization, work closely with the CEO on company strategy, and partner with the CTO to translate market and customer needs into products that deliver real impact.

You’ll work across our Authentication Platform, Digital Identity, and Mobile In-App Protection products, combining long-term product vision with the realities of building enterprise cybersecurity technology for banks and fintech companies.
‍

What Will You Do?

  • Own Wultra’s product strategy, portfolio, and roadmap, defining where we invest – and equally importantly, where we do not.
  • Work closely with the CEO to translate company strategy, market opportunities, and customer needs into clear product priorities.
  • Work with the CTO on portfolio capacity, major technology investments, technical debt, and shared engineering priorities.
  • Build, lead, and develop our product organization.
  • Ensure Product and Engineering work together from discovery through delivery, supported by effective product management practices and meaningful product metrics.
  • Maintain a coherent product portfolio while balancing strategic development with the needs of large enterprise customers.
  • Work closely with Sales, Customer Success, customers, and partners to understand requirements and identify new opportunities.
  • Stay ahead of developments in digital identity, authentication, mobile security, regulation, and cybersecurity, and translate them into product opportunities.

We’re a Good Fit If You…

  • Have significant product leadership experience in digital identity, cybersecurity, authentication, IAM, fintech security, or a closely related domain.
  • Have managed a product portfolio and successfully led a product organization.
  • Can combine long-term product strategy with hands-on decision-making and execution.
  • Have sufficient technical understanding to engage credibly on security, identity, APIs, SDKs, mobile applications, integrations, and industry standards without trying to become the CTO.
  • Have hands-on experience with product discovery, roadmapping, prioritization, requirements management, product analytics, and product lifecycle management.
  • Understand the difference between enterprise products and customer projects and can protect a scalable product strategy while serving demanding enterprise customers.
  • Can turn complex customer, regulatory, market, and technical inputs into clear decisions - including saying “No” when necessary.
  • Are comfortable operating as an executive counterpart to the CEO and CTO while remaining close enough to the products, customers, and teams to understand what is really happening.
  • Are comfortable with modern product management, analytics, collaboration, and AI tools.
  • Communicate clearly, lead effectively, and take ownership of product outcomes rather than merely maintaining a roadmap.
  • Have strong professional English.

Experience That Would Be a Strong Advantage

Experience with some of the following will help you get up to speed quickly:

  • authentication, FIDO2, passkeys, or transaction signing;
  • digital identity, identity wallets, or electronic signatures;
  • banking, financial services, or other highly regulated industries;
  • PSD2/PSD3, eIDAS 2.0/EUDI Wallet, DORA, or related regulation;
  • mobile application security or RASP;
  • cryptography or post-quantum security.

You don’t need to be an expert in all of these areas. We are looking for a strong product leader with meaningful identity or cybersecurity experience who can quickly understand adjacent domains.

What Are We Offering?

  • A key executive role with direct influence over Wultra’s strategy and product portfolio.
  • The opportunity to shape products across authentication, digital identity, post-quantum security, and mobile application protection.
  • A close working relationship with the CEO, CTO, and other company executives.
  • An experienced technical organization and direct access to major customers, partners, and industry experts.
  • An international environment as Wultra continues to scale beyond its European roots.
  • Great freedom in when and where you work – results matter more than schedules.
  • Company MacBook and the tools you need to do your best work.
  • Salary: 160 000–180 000 CZK / month, based on experience.

Why Join Us?

At Wultra, the Product team is not a layer between customers and developers. It is responsible for deciding what we build, why we build it, and where the company invests its product capacity.

You’ll join at a stage where the foundations are strong, but many of the most important product decisions are still ahead of us. If you enjoy turning complex markets and technologies into clear product strategy, building strong teams, and taking real accountability for what gets built, we’d like to hear from you.

👉 Think it’s a fit? Let’s talk – even if you don’t tick every single box.
